Coaching for real life triathletes

Mission

My mission is to help time crunched athletes achieve meaningful performance breakthroughs through purposeful, personalized, science driven training that respects their lives, honors their ambitions, and brings joy back into the process of becoming better.

I coach the whole athlete. Their physiology, their psychology, their schedule, and their story so they can discover what they’re truly capable of.

Why I Coach

I coach because endurance sport changed me. It taught me humility, discipline, resilience, and what it means to pursue something with your whole heart.

What drew me into triathlon wasn’t just the competition or the finish line. It was the science behind it, the physiology, the adaptations, the nutrition, the energy systems, the recovery. It felt like a living experiment, a kind of bio-hacking:
“If I train this way, what happens? If I fuel this way, what changes? If I recover this way, what improves?”

Over the last decade, that curiosity turned into a deep respect for the long game. I’m not interested in gimmicks or quick fixes. I care about helping real people unlock the best in themselves through consistency, intention, and honest work.

There are athletes who feel like they’re meant for more, who know there’s another level inside them waiting to be developed. Those are my people. Helping them bridge the gap between who they are and who they want to become is why I coach.

Who I Coach

I work with athletes who live in the real world. People with careers, families, responsibilities, and limited time… but an unlimited sense that they’re capable of more.

My athletes aren’t chasing perfection. They’re chasing progress. They love sport, have a competitive streak, and feel most alive when they’re working toward something meaningful.

They’re time crunched and can’t always make the group ride or the 5 a.m. swim. Maybe they prefer to train alone. But they show up consistently, intentionally and with purpose.

You’re my kind of athlete if you’re…

  • • Driven, but grounded in real life
  • • Balancing training with work and family
  • • Competitive, but not consumed by ego
  • • Curious and eager to understand the “why”
  • • Not afraid of failure or hard conversations
  • • Patient enough to play the long game
  • • In love with sport for its own sake

If you read this and think, “Yeah… that sounds like me,” then you’re exactly who I built The Endurance Equation for.

About Adam

I’m Adam Suhayda—a software engineer by training, a triathlete by obsession, and a coach by purpose.

Triathlon started as curiosity. I was fascinated by how training and recovery could reshape the body and how small adjustments in volume, intensity, fueling, and sleep created measurable changes in performance. It felt like a laboratory where I could run experiments on myself and see the data come alive.

Over the last decade, that curiosity turned into a deep practice of refinement. I’ve qualified for USAT Age Group Nationals, earned IRONMAN All World Athlete status multiple times, and learned first hand how to balance training with family, work, stress, setbacks, and real life.

My engineering background shapes how I coach: I value systems, feedback loops, clear reasoning, and continuous improvement. But I also know this is about more than numbers. I coach because I love seeing athletes grow into themselves, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. Helping someone realize they’re capable of more than they believed never gets old.

Smart training, honest feedback, and respect for real life. I'd rather you follow a well designed, realistic plan at 90% than a "perfect" plan you can't actually execute.

Work With Me

I keep my roster intentionally small so I can give real attention to each athlete. If what you've read here resonates, the next step is simple: start a conversation.

There's no pressure, no hard sell. We'll talk about your life, goals, constraints, and what you're hoping to get out of coaching. If it's a good fit, we'll build from there.

This form sends me an email. I'll usually respond within a business day.
